RICE RISES WITH LUCKY NUMBERS

Australian Stephanie Rice broke the 200 metre individual medley world record with a new time of two minutes,8.92 seconds at the national olympic trials at sydney on Tuesday.

Rice was born on june 17,1988.Seventeen adds up to eight.Also,the year of birth adds up to 8.

It may be noted that Rice knocked 0.80(0+8+0=8)seconds off the previous record held by china’s Yan Yan we,set in Sanghai in 1997-which adds up to 8.

Earlier Rice smashed the 400m medley World record on Saturday.Saturday is represented by number 8.Notably,it was by shaving 1.43(1+4+3=8) seconds off American Katie Hoff’s previous record.
